Stories and art by Marty Taras and Steve Muffatti. Early funny-animal comics from Harvey, featuring breakout star Rags Rabbit, a precursor to Harvey's line of kid's comics. Little Dot gets out the scissors when her mother asks for help with a patchwork quilt. This issue features the first appearance of Harvey's redesigned, dot-obsessed Little Dot, the same month as Little Dot (1953 1st Series) #1. Rags is the hero of the beach in a story strongly similar to all those bodybuilder "sand in the face" ads. Also featuring a note from the publisher, Alfred Harvey, on the new Harvey "H" logo, which remained for another 30 years.
