| Synopsis | Linc Greer has a vacation in the woods planned with his girlfriend Veronica. She decides she won't go with him and his ex-wife Paula makes him take his son Wendell instead. Wendell is very angry with his dad because Linc never spends time with him. When they stop at a diner near their cabin Wendell gets into trouble with the local police when he nearly knocks over someone when he storms out of the diner after an argument with his dad. Linc manages to smooth it over and they go up to their cabin. Ranger Hardy visits them for a little while and they going hunting the next day. They run into two other hunters who say they can use their tree stands. They set up in the stands and after 30 minutes a deer comes along. Linc shoots the deer with a bow but doesn't have a clear shot and the deer isn't killed. After Linc shoots it with a gun (they are only allowed to hunt with bows) because Wendell doesn't shoot someone knocks him in the head. He wakes up to find himself alone and Wendell gone. |
