Synopsis | Filming a reality show in Stamford, Connecticut, the New Warriors bite off much more than they can chew when they take on four super baddies; Nitro explodes, killing 600 people and wrecking part of the city; Anti-hero hysteria begins in full force and the government responds by proposing a bill that would require all "superheroes" to register and work for Uncle Sam; The Human Torch is beaten outside of a nightclub as tensions flare; The heroes gather to discuss the new bill and there is a definite split between those who favor registration and those who do not; Cap meets with Director Hill of SHIELD and, when he refuses to police his fellow heroes, finds himself in conflict with the spy organization; Iron Man tells the president to go ahead and pass the registration bill and he will take care of Captain America and the other dissenters; The Civil War has begun. |
