Linc; Sheriff Dale; Deputy Monroe; Star; Doc James |
Synopsis |
When Linc wakes up the deer is gone and he can't find Wendell. He goes back to his cabin to find it ransacked and Wendell still gone. Linc calls the local sheriff and tells him that Wendell is missing. Linc is arrested for the murder of his son when the local police don't find any evidence of the dead deer when he reports his son missing. They assume that he shot his son and buried him because of the fight they were seen having in the diner and the fact that Ranger Hardy said the boy seemed upset when he visited them. During the investigation it appears that two local boys are the ones who kidnapped Wendell. When a local "tree hugger" is captured he confirms Linc's story and says that he buried the deer. Linc is freed and goes back to his cabin. While he is sleeping someone sneaks in the cabin and leaves something. Then someone calls him from his cell phone and reveals that they have Wendell (or Two Reel, as he wants to be known). |
