Synopsis | Superman is still on the moon held by the Insect Queen. He finds out that she has used his genes to create super-soldier ants. Lana and the remaining moon base workers observe, and Lana slips over to Superman to help free him. Insect Queen returns, but Superman has recovered enough to fly them away. After dropping off Lana, Superman is attacked by the super-soldier ants in moon orbit, with Insect Queen directing them. Superman decoys them into the path of the baseball he hit two issues ago, and it distracts her long enough for Superman to defeat the soldiers, and punch her through some ambrosia, freezing her in suspended animation. All humans are returned to Earth. Superman checks in on Lois and Chris Kent, who had caused the explosion in their apartment building. Chris was scared that Superman would send him away, but Superman reassures him that he belongs as part of the family. |
