Synopsis | Kara and Grace are in disguise, raiding a private yacht. They are undercover, as Supergirl is now working with the Outsiders in a sort of audition, at Boomer's request. They flush out the super-powered pirates that have been raiding these waters. After being captured, they are made part of the crew, and participate in the next raid. Kara is offered some sashimi-like food, that apparently gives power, but turns it down. She then explores the boat, and finds a mermaid-like creature with hunks of flesh exposed and missing, who asks to be killed to make it stop. This flashes Kara back to Krypton, where her mother asks Kara to kill her (at her father's request), and Kara does so. Grace is fighting the pirates but losing, and asks Kara to go ahead and kill the creature. But she can't, and is stabbed through by the lead pirate's claws. Grace throws an anchor through the creature, killing it and the pirates' powers with it. They are about to kill Kara anyway, when she is suddenly rescued by a new hero, Power Boy. |
