Synopsis | Harold Moffet, hack reporter, sifts articles about normal people going nuts with suicide and murder. He's clueless. But one guy in a photo (Duncan Pramble, the former Multi-Man) looks familiar. He tracks Pramble to work, to his apartment, to a hooker who reveals, "Duncan Pramble claims he blew up Challenger Mountain!"... Despondent, Ace wanders the Amazon, wondering what to do, when he sees Red's reflection in a pool. Ace traces a "door" and jumps to Red's side. Red is surrounded by flames and soldiers and contemplating suicide. Ace transports them away... Rocky has crashed in rehab. Over time he admits he's an alcoholic from child abuse and no sense of purpose. He's ready to be discharged with nowhere to go - just as Red and Ace appear from thin air!... While unknown to our heroes, hundreds of demon-driven people flock to the shattered ruins of Challenger Mountain. |
