Synopsis Finding gamma base deserted and everybody gone, the Hulk heads to New York City to try and find his old friends in the Avengers but finds himself attacked once again by city police; Rick, hearing that the Hulk is in the big apple, gets a job driving a car to New York for a mysterious stranger who tells him to be sure not to look in the trunk.

Notes Jerry Grandenetti pencil credit added by Mark Evanier (via the GCD Errors list, August 2009), who credits him with about half of the story. Everett appears to have penciled and inked part of the first two pages, with Grandenetti pencilling the rest, although the Hulk's face, as well as Rick Jones, appears to be drawn by Everett throughout the story to maintain consistency. Primary inker appears to be Mike Esposito, with possible assistance from Sol Brodsky and John Tartaglione. Gene Colan and Dick Ayers art on page 5, panels 1 and 2,taken from Sub-Mariner story. Inks formerly credited to Paul Reinman and John Romita, Sr.(Current credits per Nick Caputo.)
