In this story, Alfred Meeks is transported to the Nightmare Jungle of Tubos, where he saves its inhabitants from the wizard Katung, who has sent weird monsters to menace them. This gives Meeks the self-confidence he needs to get his girlfriend back when he returns to Earth.
