Synopsis Shortly after the Infinitors return from their adventure in 1942, they encounter Solomon Grundy, who is terrorizing Hollywood. Meanwhile, the Ultra-Humanite's plans for revenge vs. the JSA are well under way as Robin, Green Lantern, Atom, Wonder Woman, and Hawkman are also 'drowned' by the Stream of Ruthlessness, as they join Superman as its victims (as a result of a trap set by the Humanite). To be continued...

Notes Text page on Merry, Girl of 1,000 Gimmicks, who is Brainwave's mother. Events take place immediately following All-Star Squadron (DC, 1981 series) # 24-26 and All-Star Squadron Annual (DC, 1982 series) # 2. Superman falling victim to the Stream was due to the Ultra-Humanite using Green Kryptonite as he 'drowned' him, so as to weaken him enough to be susceptible to the Stream's influence as seen in issue 1.
