10 page Ms. Tree story "Runaway II Chapter Five: Exposure"

Characters Ms. Tree; Harry Rynd; Dominique Muerta (cameo only); Dan Green; Eddie Graham; Tracey Lynn; Betty Eden (cameo only); Mr.C; Pex; Roger Freemont; unidentified secretary to Freemont; Sgt. Callis (of the Vice squad); unidentified junior detective
Synopsis Ms. Tree has punched out Harry Rynd (owner of King Leer, one of three top men's magazines in the country). Shortly after that, Eddie Graham, another dirtbag, shows up bearing stuffed toy animals for Tracey. He's a coke dealing dirtbag. Dan identifies himself and Michael is recognised by Eddie as the owner of Tree Investigations. Tracey tells him that she hired them: Mr. C got rough and that she needed protection. Eddie walks up to Harry and razzes him about getting roughed up by the big, bad lady (meaning Michael Tree.) Michael starts to ask him about Cindy Duzit/Betty Eden, but Eddie blows her off. In Fact, he blows them all off, telling them to get out, because he and Tracey want their space. On their way out to their cars, Dan wonders what hit him, and Michael tells him that she took him for a momentary ride. Harry walks up and asks Michael for a word, which Michael agrees to on proviso that it be only one. Harry then asks her not to tell anybody that he's her angel. He tells her that Mr. C is the kind who kills over imagined slights. He tells her he doesn't want the cops on his tail, because if they found out he was making triple X movies in this county, they'd put him in jail like a common pimp. Michael tells him he's a most uncommon pimp. He then offers her a job as a model for his magazine, to which she responds by punching out his lights again. Back at the office, Roger and Michael have a conversation about Eddie Graham and his relationship with Cindi Duzit a.k.a. Betty Eden. Shortly after it started, the secretary comes with a newspaper with Tracey's picture on it and the headline "Porn Star Underage". Michael looks at it, and feels that Glenn leaked it to the media. She then goes to talk to Sgt. Callis at the Vice Squad. He tells her during the course of their conversation when she muses out loud that technically Tracey Lynn had been making kiddie porn, that is was in fact kiddie porn. Shortly after they converse, Michael goes back to Graham's Digs, to talk to Eddie, Dan and Tracey. When she gets there, she is surprised by Mr. C and his muscle bound henchman Pex. She is then forced inside at gun point.

10 page Ms. Tree story "Runaway II Chapter 6: All Through The House..."

Characters Ms. Michael Tree; Mr. C; Pex; Tracey Lynn; Glenn Harwood; Dan Green; Harry Rynd; Betty Eden's Father.
Synopsis Ms. Tree is waylaid at the front door by the dirtbags Mr. C and his muscle bound henchman, Pex. They tie Michael Tree to a chair with a strand of Christmas tree lights, and seal her mouth closed with a tightly wound strip of red tape marked "Do Not Open Until Christmas" along its length. In other rooms in the house, Harry and Dan are being bound and gagged themselves. Besides Mr. C and Pex, the only other people who are not bound and gagged are Tracey, Eddie and Glenn. Mr. C gloats over Michael and promises to have Pex break every one of her fingers for her having broken his right little finger. Mr. C then tells them that Tracey's stunt cost him one and a half million dollars, and that she's going to sign an agreement that merges her company with his. Tracey defies him, and C threatens her with acid or being cut with a knife. Eddie asks if he expects a contract made under duress to hold up and Mr. C tells Eddie that he is the first one to die if anything goes wrong. Then he tells Michael that Harry is here, as is Dan. He then tells Tracey to sign before he gets nasty. Glenn attacks C, and punches him in the mouth. Pex then attacks Glenn and pistol whips him in the mouth and knocks him to the floor at Michael's feet. Just as Pex is helping his boss to his feet, Betty Eden's father enters brandishing a double barrelled shotgun, calling both of the men murderers. Mr. C demands to know who he is. Mr. Eden then reveals that he's the father of the girl C killed. Mr. Eden then kills Mr. C and Pex with the shotgun. He's about to kill Eddie when Tracey stops him. She confronts him with having raped his own daughter, which he denies. Tracey dares him to kill her, while unseen by them, Glenn takes Pex's gun and shoots Mr. Eden to death with it. They have an upleasant discussion about Tracey using him to lure Mr. C and Pex to their deaths, as well as Tracey leaking the story to the press herself. Glenn then frees Michael and asks her to untie the others, because he's going to be sick.
