Synopsis Sara wakes up from a weird nightmare about being part of an occult ceremony when she was a baby to discover that she is clutching a new gem for the Witchblade; She connects the gem to her gauntlet with explosive results; Sara arrives at work to find that Joe Siry has resigned after confessing to the killing of his former partner, Sara's father; Gavin Taylor is embroiled in scandal and Irons ends his association with him; Jake also confronts the former minister and discovers a monster hiding under Gavin's human guise; Irons gives a few words of cold comfort to Ian concerning the death of Setsuke (after all, he is the one who ordered Ian to kill her); Sara is meeting with Drexler to find out if Lisa is safe when she is attacked by the mysterious and powerful Shine.
