Synopsis |
As Colonel Steve Trevor is given a surprise assignment by General Kohler, and Hephaestus forges a lasso of truth from Gaea's girdle, Diana waits for the gods to reveal the nature of her mission. Finally Hermes arrives to guide Diana on her journey, but first they must travel to the Areopagus to get an amulet from Harmonia that will help Diana track down Ares. Diana and Hermes rush back to the Amazons' island, for Colonel Trevor's mission was part of a sinister plot to drop a bomb on Themyscira. Diana returns just in time to divert the bomb and rescue Trevor from a watery grave. Athena appears and informs Diana that the Amazon is now prepared for her mission and Hermes leads Diana, carrying Colonel Trevor, to Man's World. But Phobos and Deimos, the masterminds behind the plot to bomb the Amazons, are not through with Diana. |
