Synopsis | Chief Lumbowo's people are terrorized by crocodiles at Lake Chad. One crocodile has killed five of the village men. Paul joins a hunt for the man-killing crocodile believing the villagers will more readily accept his farming advice if the hunt is a success. The croc destroys the party's canoe and the hunters are stranded on an island in the lake. Lassie, Timmy, Ruth, and the villagers rescue the hunters the following morning but a severe storm overturns their canoes. Lassie saves Timmy from drowning. The party again leaves the island but the crocodile is spotted. Paul slays the animal with a rifle shot. In the village, a celebration is held. |

Synopsis | Po Yin, Kyan Zit, and U Po Net are captured by marauding head-hunters who plan to use the three to distract farmers tilling their fields while a raid is conducted on their village. Po Yin is able to alert the farmers to the danger and Kyan Zit turns on the head-hunters. Aid arrives from the village and the head-hunters are chased into the jungle. The villagers thank their saviors. |

Synopsis | Lassie and Timmy are the guests of Ted Welland on an excursion to a mahogany tree felling lot near Benin City. The logs are transported to market via rafts, and Timmy and Ted are forced to board one when their dugout is destroyed by a hippopotamus. Night falls and the crew tie the raft to the bank before preparing supper. Thieves led by a stilt dancer from Benin City attack the raft. Lassie captures the leader and chases gang members into the jungle. Paul and Mr. Welland arrive and take the stilt dancer into custody. |
