Mary, who wants Little Archie to get interested in girls, encourages Ronnie to take an interest in Little Archie's hobbies, so Ronnie gets her father to buy her a very expensive pigeon.

Synopsis The girls' club decides to try and get Little Archie interested in girls by treating him to a movie with one of their members. Bubbles McBounce is chosen draw names from a bowl to see who will get the date with Little Archie. Bubbles decides to cheat: she pretends that her hand is stuck in the bowl, and gets the date by default. But after the girls force Little Archie to go to the movie, Betty tags along to make sure that Bubbles' hand is really stuck.

He goes to the town square to see the statue of Riverdale's founder, Colonel Joshua Carson, but the inscription has no useful information either. But that night, when he and Spotty go for a walk past Carson's Creek, a strange but friendly old man appears to tell Little Archie some fascinating facts about what that creek has meant to Riverdale and America -- and he even throws in a bit of juicy gossip.
