He suspects the South Side Serpents, but while keeping an eye on them, he notices the real culprit: Chester Punkett, working alone without Mad Doctor Doom. Little Archie can't stop Chester on his own, so he finds a way to get the Serpents to help him without knowing it. Meanwhile, Ronnie, an intrepid reporter for the school newspaper, tries to cover Little Archie's super sleuthing.
