Synopsis Tom Mix is visiting Judge Jody in his courtroom when the Judge sentences Big Bletcher to the gallows. Big Bletcher decides that if he has to die he is going to kill the judge also and tries to strangle him to death. Tom is there to stop him though and offers to stay and help but the Judge opines that they can handle Big Bletcher now. Fortunately Tom is still in town when he hears that Big Bletcher has escaped. He gets to the judge just in time to keep Big Bletcher from killing him, but Big Bletcher gets away. The doctor says the judge needs rest so Tom takes him to his ranch but he doesn't know that Big Bletcher is still out to kill the judge.
