Synopsis The JSA memberss are standing in a radio studio, as a program honoring them is about to air. But, strangely, the announcer doesn't laud them, but the newly organized Injustice Society of the World, promptly pulling a gun on the JSA and firing at them! The Atom punches him through a window....but he mysteriously disappears, leaving behind only bits of straw. Returning to their HQ, the members hear a radio broadcast about simutaneous jail breaks all over the country when Dr. Mid-Nite enters with the announcer's script page, from the Injustice Society, challenging the JSA to a battle of wits. Seeing a connection with the jail breaks and that script page, the members head out to the locations of the jail breaks. Meanwhile, nearby, the Wizard is chairing a meeting of the Injustice Society, whose members vow to destroy the JSA completely as they each head out to take on a JSA member.

5 page Hawkman story "The Injustice Society of the World! [chapter 1]"

Synopsis Over Gartmoor Prison, a huge aircraft drops thousands of leaflets, asking the prisoners to join the Injustice Society. The warden, reading one of the flyers, suddenly finds himself trapped in his own office, as guards in the prison are also trapped, helplessly watching the prisoners escape. Meanwhile, Hawkman sees one of the flyers, heads to the prison, and lands, watching the prisoners marching like a well-drilled Army. Just then, Vandal Savage appears, taunting the Feathered Fury before he disappears. Hawkman flies on to the prison, where the warden tells him that help is on the way to recapture the prisoners, so the Feathered Fury radios Wonder Woman and Johnny Thunder back at JSA HQ with the news....then he heads out after Savage. Flying to the airport, Hawkman discovers the Federal planes circling for landing, not realizing the airport is surrounded by the prisoners. Hawkman comes aboard one of the planes to warn them, but is arrested by the Chief on board. He then watches the Chief jump from the plane, leaving behind mysterious bits of straw. Hawkman swoops down on the prisoners, only to be captured by Vandal Savage.

5 page Flash story "The Injustice Society of the World! [chapter 2]"

Synopsis In Plateau City, the Police nab a shabby dressed man trying to shoot the Governor....only to discover that this man is a dead ringer for the Governor...and claims to be the real Governor! The Flash arrives on the scene to overhear this, but moves on to confront the hoodlums attacking the city. The Thinker appears on the scene, firing a ray at the Crimson Comet, causing him to gain weight and crash through a roof. Recovering, the Flash speeds over the Governor's mansion, only to overhear the Governor ordering all forces for law and order to surrender. Flash enters his office and discovers the Governor to be a dummy/machine, which flees through an open door. Flash attempts to warns law enforcement officials that a phony Governor put out the message, but the Thinker shows up and tells the Fastest Man Alive that he is speaking into a dead mike, then snares him with invisible wires.

Synopsis Green Lantern arrives in Uthorium Town just as the armed forces are closing in on the criminals that control the city. Suddenly, the town disappears in a flash of light. G.L. begins a search for the criminal army, when he discovers the town has re-appeared a few miles away, and the felons are looting uthorium from a lab. The Emerald Crusader zooms in for the attack, when the Brain Wave appears on the scene, opening a cannister of uthorium in his presence. Blinded, G.L. forms an energy bubble for protection while Brain Wave and his men finish their job. Recovering later. Green Lantern discovers a radioactive trail left behind by the uthorium and follows it, discovering some of the thugs with an invention called the "Mirage-Thrower," which fools the Army tanks into crossing a frozen lake which really isn't frozen. G.L. saves the tanks and men, then follows the trail to discover Brain Wave inside a weird glass box. Firing his power ring at it, the ray bounces back, knocking the Emerald Crusader off a cliff, apparently to his death!

Synopsis On the eastern seaboard, the Atom arrives at the HQ of General "Stubby" Klemper, notifying him that Wonder Woman has informed him that lifelike automations are being used by the Injustice Society to impersonate important government officials. But the Mighty Mite soon discovers that the General is one of them and has a real battle on his hands. After defeating the automation, Atom disguises himself as the General, and allows the operating control box in the automation to guide him to where the real General is being held. Unfortunately, he walks right into the HQ of the Injustice Society, switches to the Atom, and launches an attack....but he is soon captured.

Synopsis Joining the armed forces of Capitol City [clearly meant to be Washington D.C.], Dr. Mid-Nite suddenly finds himself under attack from the air, where criminal paratroopers are dropping smoke bombs to cover their take-over of the Washington Monument. As the Man of Midnight nears the monument, several felons toss grenades at him, which he promptly catches and tosses back, over-coming the criminals and saving the lives of the nearby soldiers. Mid-Nite then races up the spiral staircase of the monument to discover Degaton aiming a weapon at him...but the Man of Night throws a smoke bomb at Degaton, blinding him. After the smoke clears, Dr. Mid-Nite discovers that Degaton has escaped via a rope leading down to the Capitol dome, and he follows, only to be overcome by Degaton.

Synopsis When Dr. Mid-Nite recovers, he sees that he is chained with the other JSA members [sans Green Lantern] under a "will-paralyzer" placed there by the Injustice Society. Together, they heave an iron ball they are chained to into the ray device, and are released when the chains break. As they escape from the room they are imprisoned in, they walk right into a courtroom, where the prosecutor, the Wizard, is ready to plead his case against the JSA to the Judge Thinker. After listening to the evidence again the Justice Society, the judge declares them not guilty and rips off his disguise, to reveal himself as Green Lantern! While the JSA mops up the Injustice Society, the Wizard's criminal army is outside the courtroom awaiting the verdict, and the Wizard joins them in one final assault on the JSA. As the battle rages, the Wizard attempts to sneak off, but is kayoed by the Junior Justice Society. The entire Injustice Society is then judged guilty by the JSA for their crimes.
