Synopsis | A thief using a "Mother Goose" motif leaves nursery rhyme clues to the police before committing crimes. The man's henchman, King Cole, attempts to talk him out of it. He knows the police are too dumb to figure them out, but the Torch is clever. Mother Goose tells King Cole that is the whole point and he enjoys the battle of wits with the Torch. When Torch and Toro show up at the scene of one of Mother Goose's crimes they get captured and placed in asbestos suits, hoisted up by their wrists in a room criss-crossed by electric eyebeams wired to explosives. Torch whistles to get Mother Goose's cats to enter the room and the ensuing explosion frees Torch and Toro, who apprehend Mother Goose and his gang. |
