Synopsis Rex and Scotty are forced to land their tiny space module on a volcano when it overheats. While exploring they fall into a bottomless pit but are saved when a side draft pulls them into a hole in the wall of the volcano and they land on giant mushrooms. They rescue a humanoid named Hera from strange creatures and she takes them home to meet her father Lucan, a scientist. Rex is leery of Hera for good reason as Lucan attempts to drug them so that he can experiment on them.
