Synopsis The microwave killer strikes again, cooking a beautiful woman from the inside out; In the aftermath of Sara's first wielding of the Witchblade, she passes out; She is hospitalized and visited by Jake and Joe who are worried about her and have a ton of questions about the encounter at Kenneth Irons' tournament that left her partner, Michael Yee, dead; The Triads send an assassin to kill Irons for the deaths of their men at his tournament but Nottingham dispatches the killer; Irons puts Nottingham through a painful ceremony to make him immune to the power of the Witchblade; Sara leaves the hospital and returns to the police station where she recovers the Witchblade (it fell off when she fainted) and tries to use it to raise Michael from the dead; She fails.
