Lois goes to Lana's apartment, where Lana gets details about what is known about the Society from a Pentagon general. The knifeman from last issue is still trying to get to Lois, but Congressman Shephard tells him to fall back as Lois is currently with Lana under secret service protection; but Shephard tells him Lois must disappear. Lois gets word of the Society to Superman in the middle of the battle. Superman attempts one last KO punch, but Adam turns his back to Superman, causing Superman to stop the fight. Dr. Psycho reports that he will leave everyone permanently mentally-scarred, unless he is allowed his freedom. Superman agrees, and Psycho releases everyone from his control. Superman threatens that he's watching the Society now that he knows about it, and Adam takes Psycho back. Bizarro and Zoom finish their race, and decide to join the Society. |
