Synopsis | Brainiac 5 and Invisible Kid are unable to stop the invaders at the Time Institute, so Invisible Kid follows them back through their Boom Tube when they make their escape, while Brainiac 5 stays behind and has to deal with the bomb they left. After the Legion, including Superboy, clean up at the Time Institute, Brainiac 5 determines that the universe appears to be shrinking. Invisible Kid explains this phenomenon, when he determines that the dark figures he trailed are sucking the dark matter out of the universe. The Legion rushes to help Invisible Kid and learns that the dark matter being gathered by thousands of stargates is being shunted into a giant Boom Tube. |
