Synopsis While on a train, a conman switches a briefcase full of cash for one filled with cut paper, then jumps from the train with the cash. Rickey West sees him jump and the conman pretends to have a broken leg to get him to leave to get help.

Notes Champion lives on Smoky Ashton's Flying A ranch and is ridden by the boy Rickey West. There are no references to Gene Autry in the issue, other than the cover photo.
