Synopsis | Jennie Traynor loved to dance, and dreamed of being on the big stage. When talent agent Bill Ryan came to the small Virginia town offering auditions, her boyfriend, Pete, told her that this is the best way to grab her dreams. She entered and won the contest and as a prize Ryan offered to take her to the bright lights of New York. However, the only job Ryan managed to find for her was dancing in the chorus line of a sleazy club owned by Roy Tindal. Intrigued by her beauty and charm, Tindal took an interest in Jennie, and her dreams seemed to be coming true when he cast her to appear on Broadway in a play he is producing. But success has a big price and Jennie realizes her ill-made choices may cause her to lose everything she previously had, while gaining her little. |

Notes | Original title was "I Went Too Far". Because of the risque nature of the original story, every page of this was heavily edited to receive approval by the Comics Code for reprint. Due to the heavy changes (including inking out of entire panels leaving them black), some have called this the most poorly reworked story in the history of comics. |

Notes | Editor basically removed a paragraph from the original story to comply with Comics Code mandated changes. This left a blank spot on the page. |
