Synopsis | Two detectives go after a voodoo blackmailer. The older man has an open mind, but the younger detective thinks all voodoo is bunk, and to prove their target is a faker he gives him some of his hair for one of the dolls. When they finally track down someone in the neighborhood who is not afraid to testify against the shaman, they go to his apartment on the third floor to arrest him. He threatens the detective by holding the doll out the window and says he'll drop it. The younger detective scoffs and says "Do your worst." The voodoo priest drops the doll and he also falls out the window. The younger detective is puzzled, but the older detective reveals that he switched the hair he handed to the priest with some of the priest's hair he got off the bed, just to be on the safe side. |
