A convict decides to use it for two weeks to get out of the stir. He doesn't want to have amnesia for any more than two weeks because his partner in crime is on the outside with his share of the job money. He meets his partner in crime with amnesia and becomes friendly with him and robs him of the job money. When the two weeks are up, the machine pulls him back through space, causing the job money to be lost in a river.
