Synopsis | While the heroes on earth battle their evil doppelgangers, the rest of their comrades tackle Warlock, Thanos and the Infinity Watch; Galactus re-forms his space ship and, much to the horror of his allies, contemplates using the Ultimate Nullifier against the Magus; Kang and Doom make it to the Magus' stronghold and discover that his power source is comprised of five Cosmic Cubes; Galactus stops the hostilities between Warlock and the heroes by transporting them all to his ship and pulling all pertinent information from their minds; Galactus sends Thor back to his home dimension in order to gather more data and the god of thunder discovers that the Magus has created a duplicate universe that is slowly merging with the present one and threatens to destroy, not only earth, but also the whole cosmos as it currently exists; With this new crisis unfolding, Warlock gathers the Infinity Gems back into the Infinity Gauntlet which he plans on using to take down the Magus; Unfortunately, the Living Tribunal has decreed that the gems can no longer work in tandem so the Gauntlet is useless; As Galactus and Gamora leave to ask the Tribunal to rescind this decree, the Magus shows up and captures Warlock and the Infinity Gauntlet, teleporting them away; With things looking bleak and all of the power tipping in the Magus' favor, Thanos asks Quasar to destroy their foe with the Ultimate Nullifier. |
