However, the first people they encounter in the desert are Marvel's Western heroes! Neither group is quite sure what to make of the other, but the western wranglers have already met Clint Barton. Shortly thereafter everyone meets at Matthew J. Hawk's office to devise a plan to stop Kang and his local outlaw renegades! Hawkeye's plan involves the thunder god, the Titan priestess, the Western riders, a uranium mine, and the Pecos Train! It's a sensational shootout in the wild, wild west! Meanwhile, Captain America, Iron Man, the Beast, Vision, Scarlet Witch, and Patsy Walker are prisoners of Roxxon Oil and the Squadron Supreme. Flashback cameo by Kang.
