The Knicker, November 1927 issue, is a promotional comic book for clothing company that sells knickers for boys and revolves around a fictional spokesperson, a boy named Tim (also appeared in promotional comics for Buster Brown and Superman-Tim). The artist for this comic may have been associated with the Walt Disney company as well. Early issues were sub-titled "The Boys' Own Magazine" while the "Official for Pie Eaters" slogan (apparently referred to a now obscure, but one-time "hip," bit of slang) was added later. The back cover has an ad by the Missoula Mercantile Co. for Tim's Official "Perfection Suit" priced at $16.50. 4-in. x 7-in 8 pages B&W.
