The title of the picture is "Andy Gump" on Top of the World, Sidney Smith Estate, Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. The basic idea for Andy Gump and his family was a comic strip about ordinary people, not too bright, not too rich, not too good-looking, and their ordinary adventures. Cartoonist Sidney Smith was charged with writing and illustrating the strip.
