Tailspin Tommy in the Famous Pay-Roll Mystery (1933), is a Big Little Book published by Whitman Publishing. Story and art by Hal Forrest (pseudonym for Gaylord DuBois). First printing, identified by its paper spine. Second printings do exist. Only two Big Little Books are known to have a colored title page and this is one of them. 320 pages, text story on left page with B&W illustrations on right page, square-bound hardcover, no cover price, 3.5-in. x 4.5-in.
