St. John's original version of Audrey is a little different than Harvey's version - her friends are Patches and Sarge - but she still loves to create mischief. Originating in popular folklore before starring in a series of Paramount cartoons, Audrey made her comics debut with this issue. After getting a spanking for spilling paint, Audrey plots revenge against her father. Audrey tries to help her friend Patches find a good deed that he can do as a Boy Scout, but that's not as easy as it sounds. Audrey invents a fast hair-growing formula as a cure for baldness. This comes in handy after she's abducted by bald bank robbers. Produced by St. John, but Paramount Pictures' Famous Studios still owned the character at this point. Little Audrey's Revenge; Good Deeds. 32 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.10.
