Trapped by a blizzard, Monte investigates reports of a werewolf stalking the Western frontier. A friend of Monte's invents the horseless carriage a few decades early, but it promptly gets hijacked by bank robbers. Monte aids Navajo warriors against outlaws, in a rare (for its era) story about the plight of Native Americans, featuring early art by future Marvel legend Gil Kane.
