    Stories and art by Leonard Frank and Rod Reed. The legendary Gabby Hayes, the most famous of all Western movie sidekicks, takes the starring role for adventure and misadventure. In a three-part story, Gabby matches wits with the stagecoach robber called the Falcon, who has trained birds of prey. A jewel thief hides the Richbilt Necklace in Gabby's marble bag, right before the big marble tournament. A snake-oil salesman tricks Gabby into selling phony hair tonic, but when the tonic actually causes baldness, Gabby is on the hook. Favorite line this issue: "No need to be bald! My tonic will grow hair on a billiard ball!"
