Fawcett presents adaptations of popular movies of the 1950s in comics form. This issue is based on John Huston's 1951 adaptation of the classic Civil War novel by Stephen Crane, The Red Badge of Courage. A young Union soldier (played by famed combat veteran Audie Murphy in the film) wrestles with his courage and his conscience while preparing to face Confederate forces in the early days of the Civil War. This adaptation is based on the full two-hour film, later heavily edited by the studio, which has since been lost. It features art by comics legend Bob Powell of "Sheena" fame. 32 pages, Full Color.
