"Hunger," pencils by Ben Brown, inks by David Gantz; A butcher poisons his ex-partner's meat locker in order to drive him out of business but then comes back later to make sure he did not leave any evidence behind and gets himself locked in; Over the course of several days he waits for someone to come and let him out, but no one comes. "Ashes to Ashes!", pencils by Al Eadeh; A woman burns her uncle to death before learning that the directions to his fortune are tattooed in a map upon his back. "The Broken Step" text story. We're not through with you yet!" Fortunately, this story was written by a red-blooded American comic creator so the commie villain comes to a bad--and eternal--end. Tom-Tom!; Natives skin a cruel plantation owner and use him for their drums. Charley's Crime, art by Jack Abel; A thief comes back as a ghost to rob a bank but the ghost of the guard he killed stops him.
