Charlton's long-running series focused on the miliary exploits of the US Marines throughout the 20th century. A by-the-book colonel in Korea gets a new driver who's a real loose cannon. A Marine sergeant tries to keep his battlefield acts of heroism anonymous, so his platoon will get all the credit. Sgt. McCan is considered too old for combat duty, but then his most prized possession is placed in jeopardy, in an early story with art by Pete Morisi.
