Cover by Fernando Fernandez. Stories and art by A. Reynoso, Enrique Cristobal, Torre Repiso, Oscar Novelle and Cirilo Munoz. The first series from 1960s publisher Eerie presents gory tales of horror and the macabre, many "reanimated" from classic pre-Code horror comics. A deadly snake gets hold of a mad scientist's giantification formula, and soon menaces the city. Space explorers seeking new life and new civilizations instead find The Eyeless Ones. A scientist's assistant tries unusual means to win the love of his boss's daughter. The series went on an 18-month hiatus after this issue. Coils of Terror; The Blind Monsters; A Thing With Fangs; A Gruesome Shock; Satan's Dead Demons; The Old Ghoul; The Blood-Dripping Head. 8 1/2-in. x 11-in., 48 pages, B&W. Mature readers. Cover price $1.25.
