Inks (backgrounds) by Terry Austin, Klaus Janson, Bob Layton, Steve Leialoha, Bob McLeod, Al Milgrom, Walt Simonson, Joe Rubinstein, and Bob Wiacek. Plot suggestions by Marv Wolfman. Painted cover by Bob Larkin (with layouts by John Romita). Doctor Doom kicks off his latest campaign for world conquest by sending the Hulk to Metropolis to free the Parasite! However the Green Goliath's massive path of destruction draws the attention of the Man of Steel! And shortly thereafter the clash of the titans erupts! Eventually Superman realizes the Hulk is being controlled from the Latverian embassy and flies to New York to investigate! In the meantime the Daily Bugle sends Peter Parker to Metropolis to get photographs of Superman! But instead of running into Clark Kent's alter ego, the web-slinger encounters Wonder Woman! After a brief skirmish, both heroes deduce that Dr. Doom is causing all the trouble! And a while later all concerned parties converge on the Latverian Monarch's underground complex in Manhattan for the final showdown! The Amazing Spider-Man and Superman vs. Doctor Doom and the Parasite for the freedom of the world! A terrific story! Cameo appearances by J.
