Captain America (1968 1st Series) Annual Canadian Price Variant 6

Canadian edition with $1.25 cover price. "The Shadows of the Past!" Script by J.M. DeMatteis. Art by Ron Wilson (breakdowns) and Vince Colletta (finishes). Cover by Ron Wilson and John Beatty. It's an off-beat tale as the four men who have worn the red, white, and blue garb of Captain America join together to fight a common foe! The elder of the universe known as the Contemplator assembles (1) William Naslund formerly the Spirit of '76, (2) Jeff Mace formerly the Patriot, (3) William Burnside aka the Captain America of the 50's, and (4) Steve Rogers; and sends them to an alternative reality where cyborgs rule the Earth! To win freedom for this enslaved world, the four Sentinels of Liberty must defeat its android ruler called Adam II. A classic battle of man vs. machine!
