A peek into the process of one of the greats of the modern era, Rude's design for this (sadly) unpublished cover is fantastic thanks in no small part to the effort he put in to capturing the essence of the character here. The piece is initialed in the lower right and dated '93, indicating that it was possibly meant to be the cover for the first issue. Blue line pencil and ink on paper. 8 1/4" x 11 1/2"
