Superman Punch-O-Bag Wrapper (circa 1940) is a rare 1940's Superman collectable made by the Lee-Tex Rubber Products Corporation. This is a wax-paper bag that was used to hold a toy called "Superman Punch-O-Bag." The Punch-O-Bag was a thin balloon with a string attached so that you could punch it. The balloon is gone; it disintegrated (as rubber tends to do over a long period of time). However, the package, featuring an illustration of Superman using the Punch-O-Bag, is still a nice collectable item. 5-in. x 7.5-in.

Cover by Gary Frank. Written by John Ridley, Brandon Easton, Wes Craig, Marguerite Bennett and Dan Watters. Art by Clayton Henry, Steve Lieber, Wes Craig, Jill Thompson and Dani. This new series presents fresh new visions of the Man of Steel in his two signature colors of red and blue! Around the world, everyone knows that when they see a red and blue streak in the sky, it's not a bird...it's not a plane...it's Superman. To start things off, Academy Award-winning writer of DC Future State: The Next Batman John Ridley joins artist Clayton Henry (Batman/Superman) to tell an untitled story of Clark Kent as he confronts a villain who still haunts him, in a story that shows what Superman can mean to a whole country. Then, Brandon Easton (DC Future States Mister Miracle) and Steve Lieber (Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen) take readers to the streets of Metropolis to show how one hero can mean so much to an individual in pain in "The Measure of Hope." Plus, in "The Boy Who Saved Superman," writer/artist Wes Craig (Deadly Class) tells a tale of Superman's early days and the man who inspired him to become the hero he is today! And Marguerite Bennett (DC Future State: Kara Zor-El, Superwoman) and Jill Thompson give us a tale of young Clark Kent in "The School of Hard Knock-Knock Jokes," while Dan Watters and Dani, the team behind Coffin Bound, bring us "Human Colors," an outlandish fable about what happens when all colors are stolen! 40 pages, PC/PB&W. Ages 13+ Cover price $5.99.

Cover by Nicola Scott. Written by Steven T. Seagle, Stephanie Phillips, Dan Panosian, Chuck Brown and Jason Howard. Art by Duncan Rouleau, Marley Zarcone, Dan Panosian, Denys Cowan, Jason Howard and John Stanisci. Explore the world of Superman in a way you've never seen before. Five brand-new stories, a visual tour de force, with only the Man of Steel's signature colors. There are tales starring Clark Kent, the original Superman, including a showdown with his most tenacious foe, Lex Luthor -- but there is also a great space adventure with Val-Zod, the Superman of Earth-2, going up against an amped-up version of Prometheus. And then there is Cyborg Superman, a warped reflection of the real deal, with a mission as opposite to Superman's as any could be. But no matter how out there the situation gets, it always comes back to the one man and the planet he loves and has sworn to protect -- and the people he inspires, young and old. Featuring: "Own" by Steven T. Seagle and Duncan Rouleau; "My Best Friend, Superman" by Stephanie Phillips and Marley Zarcone; "Patience..." by Dan Panosian; "Into the Ghost Zone" by Chuck Brown, Denys Cowan and John Stanisci; and "S is for Cyborg" by Jason Howard. 40 pages, PC/PB&W.
