Walter Simonson's The Mighty Thor: Artist's Edition - 1st printing. Last year, IDW Publishing released the inaugural Artist's Edition book, printing the entire Rocketeer saga by Dave Stevens from the original art and at the same size it was drawn. The book was a smash hit and quickly sold out. This year, IDW Publishing, in cooperation with MARVEL Comics, is pleased to offer the second book in the series: Walter Simonson's Thor: Artist's Edition! This collection will present Thor 337-340 and 360-362-Simonson's first story, followed by one of his favorite arcs. Thor #337 is one of the groundbreaking issues in modern comics, introducing the classic character, Beta Ray Bill. It was a runaway sellout when first released and it has only gained prominence with time. Simonson went on to write and draw approximately 40 issues of Thor and his legendary run on the title is an undisputed classic. All the pages in the Artist's Edition were scanned from Simonson's personal original art to ensure the highest possible quality reproduction. While appearing to be in black and white, each page was scanned in color to mimic as closely as possible the experience of viewing the actual original art - for instance, corrections and blue pencils. Each page is printed the same size as drawn, and the paper selected is as close as possible to the original art board. Hardcover, 11-in. x 16-in., 176 pages, B&W. NOTE: This is one of the greatest runs in comics history and Simonson is truly a modern master. - Odinson, Lone Star Comics Archivist

Volume 2 - 1st printing. Signed Limited Edition - Includes a Will Eisner tip-in signature plate - Limited to 100 copies. Story and art by Will Eisner. Will Eisner's work on The Spirit was, in its way, as groundbreaking as Orson Welles' Citizen Kane. Both artistic achievements rewrote the book on sequential storytelling, and had lasting impacts on all that followed them. Last Year IDW Publishing released Volume One of Will Eisner's Spirit Artist's Edition to universal acclaim (including being nominated for, appropriately enough, an EISNER award). Volume two will contain stories from the same glorious post-war period of 1946 - 1950, along with some of the very best from Eisner's run. If you are a fan of the first book (or are kicking yourself for missing it), make sure you don't get caught short-it just doesn't get any better than this! Hardcover, 15-in. x 22-in., 144 pages, B&W.

1st printing. Charles Schulz's Peanuts debuted as what is arguably the most important comic strip of all time in 1950. Peanuts transcended the medium, presenting complex issues and moral dilemmas in the space of four panels, while maintaining a bitingly funny sense of humor. Charlie Brown, Lucy Van Pelt, Linus, Schroeder, kite eating tree, the Great Pumpkin, and, of course, Snoopy... all are embedded in our psyches. Now, for the first time, Schulz's classic creation will be seen in a way as close as possible to the original art created by the artist himself-in IDW's multi-award-winning Artist's Edition format, with each strip being carefully scanned and reproduced. Note: Because of the enormous size Charles Schulz worked, these originals will be reduced in size from the original art. Hardcover, 12-in. x 17-in., 144 pages, B&W.

Art and Cover by Todd McFarlane.
Todd McFarlane's gorgeous work on Spider-Man was nothing less than groundbreaking. His intense version of the web-slinging wallcrawler took the character to new heights-instilling in the character a sense of energy and vitality rarely seen before.
McFarlane took each character and made them his own-classic villains like the Green Goblin, Hobgoblin, Sandman, the Vulture, the Lizard, plus his classic interpretations of some of Marvel's greatest heroes, the Incredible Hulk and Wolverine!
