"Origin of the Vagabond," script and pencils by Ed Winiarski, inks by George Klein; Pat Murphy adopts a disguise in order to help break up an alien smuggling ring that the FBI is investigating. "The Fog-Gun Gun Runners," art by George Klein; The Defender and Rusty decide to look into the smuggling of guns across the border into Mexico, and discover the head of an American munitions firm is behind the tyranny. "When U.S.A. Heroes Meet" text story by Stan Lee. "The Killers of the Sea," script and art by Basil Wolverton; Rockman must stop the evil genius of a hypnotist named Zombo, a master of men's minds, who has devised a special submarine that he plans to use to sink all ships (especially American) venturing through a channel near his secret island in order to control a nation's wealth. "The Mechanical Octopus Pirates"; Jack Frost battles a group of modern-day pirates who use a mechanical octopus to chase people away from a beach where a fortune in gold is buried.
