This issue is based on the 1957-59 ABC TV series Zorro, featuring art by comics legend Alex Toth. When a rebel landowner is given sanctuary by the church, the Capitan tries to smoke him out by putting the Native workers into forced labor. Zorro hopes to sabotage the plan by faking appearances of the mission's ghost. Zorro fears that a local girl has been kidnapped, but it turns out she just eloped.
