This issue is based on the classic comedy team The Three Stooges. While the trio is beachcombing, Curly Joe finds a treasure map in a soda bottle. A corrupt sea captain shanghai's them, planning to dispose of them after finding the treasure, but he didn't count on the ineptness of the Three Stooges. Out West, the boys are enlisted as deputies to capture an outlaw, but they're only armed with water pistols. Plus an ad for the "Three Stooges Magic Foto Fan Club." This was the last Four Color Three Stooges issue; followed by Three Stooges (1960-1972 Dell/Gold Key) #6.
