When a prospector finds silver in the played-out ghost town of Silver Creek, it brings outlaws and trouble, but luckily, it also brings Rod Cameron. Owlhoots set a trap for Rod using banker Turnbull as bait, in a story that opens with the line, "Scuttle dust, War Paint! Some buzzards are holding up Pop Bricker's store!" Rod goes undercover as a convict to learn where a counterfeiter hid his phony plates. Plus a text story by Mary Marvel co-creator Otto Binder.
