Harvey Comics presents an anthology series featuring kids comics, starring those eternal rapscallions, the Katzenjammer Kids. The original German Bart Simpson x2, the Kids are up to constant mischief, usually directed against the stern authority figures in their lives: their long-suffering Mama, Der Captain (a stranded sailor and their surrogate father), and the schools envoy, Der Inspector. This issue features a story in early 3-D, a popular trend at the time. 32 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.10.

Kilroys (1947) #49Published Sep 1954 by American Comics Group.

The Kilroys (Americas Funniest Family!) combined the family humor of the then-new sitcom format with Archie-style teen hijinks featuring Katie, Natch, and pal Solid Jackson. Natch and Solid Jackson want to raise animals, but the irate creatures keep attacking Pops (and who raises bears and gorillas anyway?); Jackson offers to help Natch deliver ice, but the house is atop an endless stairway; The fellas go fishing at a remote cabin near a bank robbers hideout. Produced in 3-D Truevision, says the cover, with no glasses needed. This turns out to mean the panels are shaped like little TV screens against a black background, with no 3-D effects, a gimmick ACG used on many of its 1954 titles. Who's Zoo!; The Athletic Type; Kilroy Kapers; Double Trouble Plus!; Gotta Get Away from Wimmen! 32 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.10.

The Knicker, March1931 issue, is a promotional comic book for a clothing company that sells knickers for boys. The story revolves around a boy named Tim who has counterparts in Buster Brown and the Superman Tim comics. The artist for this comic may have been associated with the Walt Disney company as well. The sub title, "Official for Pie Eaters," apparently refers to a now obscure, but one-time "hip," bit of slang. Eddie Cantor, equally obscure today, makes an appearance in a large photo on page ten and "becomes an Official Pie Eater!" The back cover features an ad for a boy's suit (just $13.75). 12 pages, black and white, mini comic-sized.
