    This alternate cover of Teen-Age Booby Trap (1970) is a promotional comic book produced by Commercial Comics for the Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs. The dangers of drug use and addiction are graphically detailed. Full color, 32-pages, 5-in. x 7-in., all newsprint. All the drugs are discussed and the history of drug use and abuse is discussed in some depth. Drugs are shown being used an abused on almost every page. Marijuana is classified as a hallucinogen and is classified as a gateway drug. LSD and bad tripping, amphetamines, methamphetamines and cocaine, the consequences of overdosing, barbiturates and the convulsions they bring, all are discussed as are opium, morphine, heroin and the horrors of opiate withdrawal. The consequences of drug abuse include but are not limited to suicide, involvement in organized crime, withdrawal and the risk of criminal conviction.
